Classes provide students with a comprehensive training in all aspects of dance. Students are given technical, creative and core skills in a range of dance genres. They will study various techniques but are also encouraged to explore and develop their individual style, and creative identity.
A variety of dance styles covered include:

- Contemporary
- Choreography
- Acrobatics
- Practitioners
- Dance theory
Students who have displayed exceptional potential, focus and passion for dance have gone on to receive further training on the CAT programme at The Place’s Centre for Advanced Training.
Every year, pupils are given the opportunity to perform in a variety of festivals and large scale productions. This includes local festivals, the London New Year’s day parade, our inhouse professional panto and end of year showcase.
Organised theatre outings are also available, to inspire, motivate and provide creative stimulation for pupils. In the past, the school has arranged theatre visits to support current and former students in West End musicals and plays.
