Our school week is divided into three days of academic classes and two days of vocational practice. The school day commences at 8.30am-3.45pm from Monday to Thursday and 8.30am-3.00pm on Fridays.
On Mondays and Fridays, pupils focus on their vocational programme, developing their talents as individual and ensemble performers in core performing arts subjects (dance, singing and drama). Teachers work alongside students to foster their dance, drama, singing technique, performance and audition skills (see curriculum page of our website).
Our academic school days occur on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. The curriculum consists of core topics in Maths, Science and English and a broad range of additional subjects (see curriculum page of our website). Small bespoke classes enable teachers to cater to the learning of each individual, providing students with support and encouragement on their journey to achieve their full academic potential.
Throughout the school week, after school clubs are available from 3.45pm-4.30pm. On Friday afternoons between 3.00pm-4.30pm, students are encouraged to partake in our ‘Performance’ club. This takes place in our 150 seat theatre and is popular amongst many of our students. Pupils are encouraged to perform an act of their choice in front their teachers and peers. This boosts confidence, aids in their artistic development and gives pupils the opportunity to receive constructive feedback from members of our vocational team.
All subjects are taught by experienced tutors and industry professionals to inspire, support, encourage and value each student.
